How To Select The Size Of Your Ceiling Fan
Selecting the appropriate size fan for your room is important to ensure the best combination of comfort
and efficiency; however, it can be a little tricky. We have included guidelines below to help you.
Small rooms that measure 12' or less require a 30" or 36" fan
Medium rooms that measure 12' - 15' require a 42" or 44" fan
Large rooms that measure 15' - 18' require a 52" or 56" fan
- **The size of the fan is determined by measuring the distance from blade tip to blade tip.
- WARNING! - To reduce the Risk of Fire, Electric Shock, or Personal Injury, Mount to Outlet Box marked
"Acceptable for Fan Support" and Use Mounting Screws Provided with the Outlet Box. Most Outlet Boxes Commonly Used for the Support of Lighting fixtures Are Not Acceptable for Fan Support and May Need
to be Replaced. Consult a Qualified Electrician if in Doubt.
